 Twenty-one years old, born and raised in Iowa. More liberal than the majority of the state, though I sort of blend in politically on a more local scale. I tend to come off as rude, but I generally mean well; I just never developed a filter between my brain and mouth. I am currently in a heterosexual relationship, though gender and sexuality has been a large base for confusion within myself. I tend to rant more in my journal than anything else; I usually forget posting for other reasons is possible. Feel free to add me, though unless I know you from somewhere I probably won't add you back. I love talking to people though, and obsessively seem to comment on the journals of others, so expect lots of comments if I do add you. XD My current large obsession is Harry Potter and I'm extremely active in Hogwarts is Home, a wonderful Harry Potter community where I'm sorted in Gryffindor. I've made more friends during my time there than I ever though possible from an online community. If you enjoy Harry Potter, I highly suggest you join it. |
Fandom wise, I follow Harry Potter, Glee, and True Blood. Depending on how the rest of the season goes, I may be getting heavier in to Flashforward. I love Doctor Who, am still mourning for Pushing Daisies, and am behind with Lost. The Godfather and The Libertine are among my favorite movies, though for funny I stick more towards Alfie (the 1966 version) or Arsenic and Old Lace. I still know the words to nearly every Disney movie, Beauty and the Beast being my personal favorite. As far as music goes I feel most comfortable listening to older rock (The Beatles, Queen) and basically anything with female lead vocals (Amanda Palmer, Cat Power, Lily Allen). I also love showtunes.
